Floyd Young Life invites you to come run or walk our 4th Annual 5K or 1K Fun Run on Saturday morning, May 11th, 2013. This year, we will be running right through downtown Floyd, starting on Main Street. Celebrate Mother's Day Weekend in the beautiful Lineberry Park while supporting Floyd Young Life & local youth. The 5K is a perfect route for runners who like great scenery and rolling hills. The 1K is designed for families, young kids, and walkers of all ages; we encourage you to come out with Mothers to celebrate Mother's Day!
Registration & packet-pick-up begin at 8:30 am & awards ceremony to follow both in Lineberry Park in Downtown Floyd (between country store & winter sun building). Parking for runners can be found in courthouse parking lot, Hotel Floyd lot, and any downtown Floyd parking. Enjoy the quaint and beautiful town of Floyd with water along the course, local refreshments after the race, and all the while, listening to something Floyd is known for--great music!
